Glen Copelin is a Director of NV Engineers and degree qualified mechanical engineer with extensive experience in acoustic engineering consulting.
Glen has worked on numerous projects ranging from small scale noise problems to leading acoustic engineering teams for large building projects, water infrastructure projects, power generation projects and oil and gas projects. Industries in which Glen has worked include building and construction, transport and utilities infrastructure, oil and gas extraction, power generation and distribution, and mining. Glen's strength is in the practical application of noise and vibration control and the diagnosis and retrofit design for noise and vibration problems. He has demonstrated experience in delivering integrated acoustic design in multidisciplinary design teams. Glen has prepared numerous noise impact assessment reports for Development Approvals and Environmental Impact Statements. He has also assisted local and State Government Authorities with peer reviews of other acoustical consultant's reports and has participated in review of acoustic related standards for Standards Australia.
Glen is a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), Registered Professional Engineer, National Engineering Registration Board (NPER), Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia (MIEAust) and a Member of the Australian Acoustical Society (MAAS).
